A very rare and early fancy Victorian wicker center table in all natural finish, American, attributed to Wakefield Rattan Company, Wakefield, Ma. This table is over the top as far as the decorative workmanship involved. It has completely woven top over hardwood with a braided border above a cascade of curlycue skirting with wicker birdcage decorated legs which are joined by wicker wrapped cross stretchers joined centrally and crowned with a set of four curly cue decorations.This is a great size table and could possibly be used as a small dining / game table with the proper sized chairs. A perfect accent table for any room in your home or simply as the ultimate attention grabbing lamp table in your living room / sunroom.
