Swedish Oval Rococo Revival Birch Root Centre Table
About the Item
Rococo revival centre table from Sweden made during 1860 to 1870. The table has a single column base with 4 legs and an oval table top. The table top is veneered with birch root and the surface has been treated so the grain is more pronounced and creates this pattern. It's very unusual to find table tops in birch root. This table is in very good condition, completely untouched and with a great patina. There are some small insignificant traces of use. Healthy, solid and stable.
