William IV Mahogany Drop Leaf Centre Table

About the Item

Antique William IV Mahogany Drop-Leaf Centre Table Circa 1830 – Duncan Phyfe Style A superb William IV mahogany drop-leaf centre table, dating to circa 1830, attributed to the Duncan Phyfe style. This elegant and versatile table is a beautiful example of early 19th-century craftsmanship, with exquisite carving and a rich mahogany finish. The table features drop-leaves to either side, enabling it to be used as a compact centre table or expanded for larger gatherings. The heavily carved pedestal base with scroll feet exemplifies the fine detailing of the period, while the central drawer offers added functionality. The deep mahogany patina and colour are indicative of the table’s age and provide a stunning contrast to its carved details. This table is ideal for use as a centre table, library table, or dining/kitchen table, offering both practicality and timeless elegance.
