18th Century Rustic Dutch Coffee Table in Stripped Oak

About the Item

18th century Rustic Dutch coffee table in stripped oak represents the essence of form and function. The no-nonsense approach was a pragmatic feature of rural craftsmanship, where artisans used indigenous materials, like this fine old-growth oak, to produce handsome yet simple furnishings that were literally designed to last for centuries! The top consists of two planks, held together by rails underneath which are also attached to the outer framework and apron of the structure below. Four square timbers with tapered legs serve as supports, while the natural beauty and patina of the two century old wood exudes incredible warmth, thanks to our proprietary stripping process! This piece will instantly endear itself to your family, and for generations to come! Circa 1750s Measures 15 H x 37 W x 3 D.
