Elegant small tripod table, oval in shape, skilfully worked by the famous cabinetmaker of Bassano del Grappa for the demanding Italian bourgeoisie of the period between the two world wars.
Its compact size made it useful for occasional use.
The Bassano del Grappa area, up to the hills of Asolo and the plain adjacent to them, have always been the area considered the cradle of a tradition of "knowing how to make beautiful and quality furniture". Delicious and important two-tiered Venetian tripod dessert table in Venetian Baroque style from the Della Torre family in Rezzonico, Lake Como. In blond walnut Hand-carved in the early 1900s, with the two triangular-shaped tops covered in walnut veneer applied in a sunburst pattern; superb engravings of the three legs of the upper triangular plane, lower plane of triangular shape, which rises gracefully on carved cabriolet legs and ending on curly feet.
