About the Item
Made in the 1970s, this coffee table was inspired by the sculptural designs of artist Diego Giacometti. The base is patinated cast aluminum with a beautiful, organic texture that calls to mind Giacometti's gnarled animal figures. The top is a thick beveled glass. Simple in design yet materially substantial, this table makes for a great modern table that departs from the expected clean lines of Midcentury furniture.
