1970's Minimalistic Coffee Table, In The Style of Phyllis Morris
About the Item
The glass top seats in a four post brass base, the legs have a very intricate design, the attach to the glass with a cap that screws in and hold the legs in place, simple but yet very ingenious.
Each of the legs has imprinted L&L WMC 1970 #9162.
L&L WMC stands for LOEVSKY & LOEVSKY White Metal Casting, this company did the casting of the legs, the interesting part that they used to only manufacture light fixtures, candle holders and lamps and not furniture.
It could of been a custom order but in any case, the piece is very unique.
The table is in very good condition, the glass does have some chips around to holes that connect the legs however they are not visible once the top cap is in place.
Measurements:
48" long x 24" deep 15" high, glass 1/2" thick.
