1980s Tessellated Marble and Glass Cantilevered Coffee Table
About the Item
This is a 1980s Cantilevered Coffee Table, having an angled base with a blush tessellated fossil / marble materiality. The piece was manufactured in the Philippines. We have seen this silhouette attributed to Karl Springer, though it may be a Casa Bique production. There is a thick glass top that is inset into the base. The table base is surprisingly light. It is likely either a thin strip of stone around it or may be faux marble.
The table measures 18 inches long, 33.5 inches wide, and 17.75 inches tall. The glass piece has a diameter of 36 inches. The base has some small chips along the edges, and the glass has some scratches on it. Overall, this table is in very good condition. Please see photos.
