This is a late 19th century Scottish tartan ware trunk. For the collector, this is a rare find. The furniture items are far less common than the smaller boxes, books and other ephemera. These highly sought after items depict the various clans and their plaids along with the Scottish Highlands pastoral scenes. It is in very good antique condition and rests on castors.
