About the Item

19th century carved Chinese elm low table circa 1850. Good quality table which is made from stunning timber, showcasing it's grain and patination.  Rectangular top with a central single piece with surrounding border.  Raised on 4 legs with carved scroll support and decoration. Ideal for use as a coffee table. Expected surface marks and minor staining from use.  Restoration to natural shrinkage to top, where wood has been let in.  Re-polished to a high standard and ready for everyday use.
