19th Century Round Marquetry Pedestal Italian Table

About the Item

This Italian round pedestal wooden table from the mid to late 19th century features an exquisite floral marquetry motif inlay on the top, surrounded by a sectional motif in the surround. The apron echoes the decorative banding found on the edge of the tabletop. The table is raised on a turned pedestal resting on a tripod base with scrolled feet . To its history the top patina has some shifting in the inlay over time.
