About the Item
This large sideboard belongs to the Stella collection designed by Christophe Lecomte in Vendée, France. Graduated from the famous BOULLE design school in Paris, Christophe navigates very easily between emotion and function and follows 2 permanent benchmarks: the elegance and ergonomics.
With Stella, Christophe decides on a range that can use the most beautiful Classic French essences with a fine and slightly naturally pink cherry. He also recommends oak, which is harder, more resistant and straight.
The proposed lines for Stella evoke a relationship between the past and the present. The structures first seduce with their contemporary straight, rectangular or square shapes, then the whole is softened with the addition of curves.
This sideboard is fully assembled in our workshop.
2 vertical wood panels divide the cabinet in 3 different storage units and each with a solid oak shelf adjustable on cleats.
The left and right doors open with a grip in the handles and close softly thanks to the damping hinges.
The central doors under the large drawer open with a "push-to-release" pressure.
The central drawer front is mounted with dovetails for a better durability.
The finish is a bleached natural oak with a "kenya" brown-grey lacquer on the frame front.
You can also choose an other finish, we do bespoke furniture.
GONTIER
is a cabinetmaker's furniture brand established since 1920 in Mayenne.
It now belongs to the company MON PETIT MEUBLE FRANÇAIS.
The manufacture of each piece of furniture remains artisanal, 100% French and of very high quality.
The solid wood comes from sustainably managed French forests.
We offer a 5 year warranty on every piece of furniture.
As proof of their authenticity and uniqueness, our furniture is burnt with a "G" hallmark.

MON PETIT MEUBLE FRANCAIS is a new brand launched in September 2018 by Eric Weiler (founder) and Eric Gizard (designer). We deliver 100% made in France high-end and top quality furniture pieces. Main material is wood, mainly ash, oak and cherry. Our wood comes exclusively from sustainably managed French forests. The craft-handed manufacture in the Loire Countryside and Bretagne ensures robustness and a very long life cycle for each piece. All our models are already fully assembled in our workshops. Eric Gizard is a famous French Designer in Paris and works several Fashion and Luxury Brands. He sublimates with his very fluid and elegant design each piece of our collections EGEE and KUBE. More over and previous to the launch of MON PETIT MEUBLE FRANCAIS, in 2010, Eric Weiler took over an old cabinet-maker named GONTIER established in France since 1920. French Traditional pieces and new designed models from GONTIER are also proposed on 1st Dibs.
