!9th Century Brass Officer's Campaign Bed/Coffee Table
About the Item
This a very interesting coffee table that has been adapted from an English or French 19th century brass campaign bed. The table is in overall very good condition; the brass elements are original and sturdy. The table has been fitted with a thick glass top. This table would be the perfect complement to an over-scale custom sofa or banquette. This type of campaign bed is uncommon when fabricated from solid brass. It could be returned to its intended use by creating a laced canvas support.
