Maison Bagues Coffee/Cocktail Table

About the Item

This is a superb example of a Maison Bagues coffee or cocktail table that dates to c. 1960-1969. The gilt bronze frame is cast in a palm tree form. The extending of the palm tree element to include the top surround is an additional indication of quality. The frame is in excellent condition and retains its gilt detailing. The top is a silvered eglomise glass replacement. The silver will acquire a darker patina over time.
