A rare and striking original coffee table sculpture by sought-after American artist and sculptor Bruce Gray (b. 1956; California, United States). Hand-crafted in the late 20th / early 21st century, abstract brutalist design, with an emphasis on materials, textures and minimalist construction, producing highly expressive forms, showcasing bare, exposed architectural salvage building materials, industrial structural elements, and various found objects, welding steel, patinated metals and scrap, combined to create a most impressive, distinctive, one-of-a-kind work of functional art. Topped with a thick, high quality circular glass top, perfect for both daily use and displaying the rare and highly unusual masculine sculptural base. Dimensions: (approx) 14" High, 48" Diameter Provenance / Acquisition: Acquired from the highly reputable auction house Heritage Auctions, Dallas, Texas. Overall in excellent shape, original vintage condition. A great sculpture by this well regarded artist.
