About the Item
Antinomia, designed by Adele Martelli, is a coffee table that harmonizes contrasting elements. Its structure consists of a monolithic base – made of veneered, lacquered panels or solid marble – and a sculptural top in round or pentagonal form. The top surface is crafted from veneered panels, while the underside is lacquered. In the round version, the entire top can also be made from solid marble. Antinomia merges irregular, expressive shapes with clean, minimal ones, creating a balanced tension. The result is a functional piece that feels like a sculptural dialogue between opposites – density and lightness, structure and spontaneity, material and meaning.
