Antique Bamboo Low Table
About the Item
Bamboo Kang Table of the Qing Dynasty period. Speckled Bamboo low Kang Table wonderfully constructed with fretted apron stretchers and struts. A double happiness symbol is centered on the aprons of both sides with an abstract floral image in the red lacquered top. The entire frame of this table is composed of speckled Bamboo cut and assembled in a puzzle manor held together with wooden pegs. There are four screws that hold the top to the frame. Great table for low seating smaller spaces as cocktail table, serving platform, books and or art display stand. In very good original condition, showing signs of age and use, very solid and sturdy.
