Aracne Coffee Table, Honey
About the Item
Aracne is a coffee table that combines the charm of design with the novelty of unexpected structure. In fact, the underlying idea of the Aracne coffee table is to make everything lighter by increasing the number of anchor points: the eight legs of Aracne just barely touching the ground produce a shape evocative of the animal world while the glass top almost appears to float in mid-air.
The perfect proportions among Aracne table’s component parts convey a sense of elegance and harmony that does not, however, detract from its striking originality: in this design, wood and glass come together to create a truly distinctive piece of furniture that not only lends refinement to any space but also injects a dose of beauty into everyday life.

LATOxLATO
The LATOxLATO design workshop was founded in 2018 by Francesco Breganze de Capnist and Virginia Valentini. Wanderers by calling and Italians by birth, Francesco is originally from Vicenza and Virginia is from Bologna. After graduating from Milan Polytechnic, they began working in the United States. A married couple, they are partners in work and in life, sharing a deep creative and inquisitive bond. This experience abroad, which they continue alternately with their work in Italy, inspires them to invent out-of-the-box designs. Their passion for their roots, for Made in Italy artisanship and the rich heritage of Italian art and architecture blends together with an international and multicultural attitude. This gave rise to the concept of LATOxLATO, which creates objects according to an idea of contemporary luxury. Natural and precious materials, 100% Made in Italy craftsmanship and unusual forms inspired by the rich heritage of Italian art and architecture.
