Smoke table in chrome plated steel and black paint, with a mirror top and a side located ash-tray. This party table is from the 1930s USA. It used to belong to a female real estate agent from NYC living mainly in an Art Deco mansion on the west side of Los Angeles.
Art Deco, short for Arts Décoratifs, is characterized by bold geometry and decadent detail work. The style reached the height of its popularity in the 1920s, '30s, and '40s and still brings glamour, luxury, and order with symmetrical designs in exuberant shapes.
