About the Item
Our comet coffee table has a whitewashed beech tabletop and solid maple base. The base has been carefully turned in our studio and hand waxed to insure a natural tone. This piece is stunning in a wide range of decors.
The table height, width, and base can be custom made to match your needs. The wood species and finish can also be customized to match your space. We also do a dinning height version of this table, check out our other inventory for more finish and design options.
Every purchase supports our local economy and provides living wages to North American craftspeople. As always, customizations are welcome!

MSJ Furniture Studio
A contemporary furniture design studio based in Vancouver British Columbia. Founder Michael Smith-Jones comes from a long line of builders, sculptors, and artists. Raised surrounded by his father's stone sculptures Michael draws influence and inspiration from his upbringing and his fine woodworking background to create bold assertive designs, with sensitivity to balanced form, function and beauty. Each piece is handmade in our studio. Every curve, surface, and joint is contemplated and scrutinized to produce furniture that you can enjoy for a lifetime. Our designs are carefully crafted to be comfortable in many design environments. Bringing in old ideas and new to create furniture that is reminiscent of the past while belonging in the present.
