Brass and steel footman coffee table or bench, England, circa late 19th century. Originally used as a footman (a table used next to a cooking fire, where hot dishes and pots could be placed). This example has had it's top replaced with a steel top at some point. It is a versatile size and can be used as a coffee table or bench. We can make a cushion for it in your fabric for an additional $150.
