During the Mid 20th Century, Jean D'asti operated his workshop in Vallauris, a picturesque seaside village in the South of France renowned for its pottery. Sitting low to the ground, this coffee table has a rectangular solid wood frame and fascinating enameled ceramic inlaid top. The hand-painted tiles, in brown, beige, gray, and white hues, feature abstract patterns that create a striking visual composition. Artist signature present on surface. Sourced in France, 1960s.
