California Craftsman Myrtle and Bronze Constellation Cocktail Tale

Buyer Protection Guaranteed

Handmade in the Sonoma Valley of California, this myrtle wood grouping table is inlaid with bronze in the pattern of a star constellation. The surface is then treated with a water base finish allowing it to get wet without damage.
The sides are blackened using the ancient Japanese process of Shou Sugi Ban (or Yakisugi) an ancient Japanese technique that preserves wood by charring it with fire. The process involves charring wood, cooling it, cleaning it, and finishing it with a natural oil.
Today Shou Sugi Ban is an environmentally friendly way to preserve timber and (paradoxically) make it fire-resistant.
These are created in limited numbers. This group is created to be clustered in any arrangement that best suits your needs.
Please feel free to contact us with any additional questions.
Dimensions of each section vary so depending on how you chose to arrange the stars the dimensions of your table setting will change. These also work as additional seating, stool style and can be used as individual side tables when needed.
