About the Item
DR was a mecca for well designed and well made furniture and accessories, representing Alvar Aalto, Hans Wegner, Eero Saarinen as well as introducing Marimekko to the US.
Among his many achievements, Claud Bunyard's quartic oval dining table won a prize at the Bussels World's Fair - World Expo 1958 - having been selected as part of the US Craft Exhibit in the US Pavilion.
He designed the furniture for The Schaffer Library of Health Sciences, Albany Medical College of Union University.
