Erno Fabry Fishtail Surfboard Marble & Walnut Cocktail Table

About the Item

This table came from the collection of a prominent child psychiatrist and a magnificent apartment on Central Park West furnished in original Italian Mid-Century Modern furnishings sourced from M. Singer & Son's, Altamira and Venini, circa 1950s-1960s. Made in Italy for Fabry Associates. I is very chic elliptical surfboard shaped marble top with fishtail ends framed between two pieces of curved walnut molding cradled atop a solid walnut frame standing on four slender tapered legs with dainty curved toes. Label found on round version of this table with a travertine top.
