Danish Oak and Brass Coffee Table Designed by Tage Poulsen, 1960s

About the Item

Uncommon Danish coffee table designed by Tage Poulsen, circa 1960s. This table is executed in quarter sawn white oak with brass detailing. Each leg fits into a grove creating a negative space and attractive joint that supports the folding top. Wonderful oak grain flairs throughout. This chunky yet sophisticated is a perfect addition to Danish-Modern, rustic, mid-century or contemporary interiors. Looks wonderful coupled with ceramics. The table is in untouched original condition showing a nice patina with some wear. Similar designers include Borge Mogensen, Hans Wegner and Tue Poulsen,.
