About the Item

The Domino table, designed in 1979 by acclaimed German designers Jan Wichers and Alexander Blomberg for the prestigious manufacturer Rosenthal, is a modular and highly versatile piece of furniture with a distinctive, sculptural character. The design consists of four cube-shaped elements, each measuring 45 x 45 cm, which are connected by specially designed hinges. Thanks to this ingenious system, the table can be arranged in a variety of configurations – whether as a classic coffee table, in an L-shape, fully extended, or arranged asymmetrically as a statement piece. Constructed from a wooden core and finished with a durable acrylic glass coating, the Domino table offers a sleek, modern look while remaining practical and easy to maintain. The glossy surface adds a touch of sophistication, and the minimalist geometric design reflects the experimental and functional spirit of late 1970s design.
