Elegant Peacock brass coffee table Maison Charles style- France
About the Item
Maison Charles style coffee or side table, this is what you call a statement piece! With a glass top and four, beautiful patinated pure messing peacocks to carry the glass. The engraving of the messing is very refined and high quality crafted. The heads of the peacocks have an art-deco kind of shape. The original Hollywood Regency style started roughly in the twenties/thirties of the 20th century, which was also the period of transition from Art Nouveau to the Art Deco era.
In the seventies and eighties there was a revival of Hollywood Regency style, this table is an example of this period. Designers as Willy Daro, Chrystiane Charles, Jacques Charles and manufacturers as Maison Jansen, Maison Charles and Belgo Chrome designed very beautiful and high quality Hollywood Regency style items.
The table also has wheels, so it is easy to replace it if you like. You can ask for a shipping quote for this decorative high quality table.
