About the Item
Whimsical French empire style coffee cocktail table lacquer speckled by artist Ira Yeager (American 1938-2022). The oval table features a two-tier design with dramatic eagle's head legs decorated with an acanthus leaf ending with paw feet. The table is lacquered in a festive mustard yellow over a black ground. Appears to have a later added oval top with a made in Mexico stamp on the bottom. Ira decorated his gallery with French style pieces of furniture to display along side his artwork. From the Ira Yeager estate in Calistoga, CA.
