About the Item
Pictures cannot describe the way this table presents in person. Attributed to French craftswoman Juliette Derel, this table follows her innovation in form and materials. With a shape like her wall mirrors, its top features a substantial 1 1/8" thickness, a brass edge, and hundreds of tiles set into a composite top. At the time, this was state of the art, blending modern sentimentality with classic French ceramic craftsmanship. Now, it has proven to stand the test of time.
In very good condition, with few signs of wear. All tiles are original, and there are no cracks or breaks in the top. Photos really do not show how monumental this table is.
