Fossilized Stone Coffee by Table Heinz Lilienthal with Round Wooden Base
About the Item
Square fossilized coffee table on round plywood base is designed by the artist Heinz Lilienthal, Germany 1970's. The stone is carved with rounded corners and the edges are chamfered to give the table a soft edge that is in perfect balance with the cylinder base. It makes the table very sculptural and timeless.
The fossils tell the history of 350 million years and are the ancient ancestors of ammonites, squid and plants embedded in the stone plated creating a random dynamic patterns in tone of deep greys and white.
The table can be economically shipped in two parts:
