French 1950s coffee Table
A beautifully sculptural and elegant centre or occasional table, French, circa 1950s, in the manner of René Prou. The lightly curved legs and scroll-knee detailing give it a strong architectural presence, while the thick toughened glass top keeps the form light and refined.

Elegant cross-stretcher with finely shaped legs
Toughened circular glass top (replacement)
Warm beech or fruitwood tone with excellent clarity in the finish
Condition
Very good overall. The glass top is a recent replacement in excellent condition. The base has been lightly restored, cleaned, and waxed.
