Scala modular coffee tables with a rectangular base in black duraplum, with a structure in the shape of a real staircase. Produced by B&B Italia in approx. 1970. and first by C&B, designed by Mario Bellini and belonging to the famous Gli Scacchi series. Label on the back. Excellent condition. Measurements in cm 60x29.5x54h Mario Bellini is an architect and designer known throughout the world. He received the Compasso d'Oro Award eight times and 25 of his works are in the permanent collection of the MoMA in New York, which dedicated a retrospective to him in 1987. He was director of the magazine Domus (1985-1991).
