About the Item
This "Slow-Flow" 22"x22" concrete side table by Dylan Myers is dripping with love. Slow-Flow was hand crafted with differnt pigments delicately integrated directly into the cement. Those drippy lines and stunning texture is a result of one of my specialized casting tecniques that delivers a " somewhat " controlled version of his vision. Which to me is one of the sexiest aspects of concrete. While I've master concrete I'll never know exactly what the finished piece will look like till it has cured and been processed. The thought of being able to alter and manipulate concrete at a molecular level is absolutely mind boggling. Then once mastered you're still at the mercy of concrete. Slow-Flow represtents a beautiful corraltion between tweaking the mix design just enough to slow the curing process and letting the concrete be concrete.
