Hollywood Regency Octagonal Eglomise Glass & Iron Cocktail Table
About the Item
Late 1950's early 1960's Hollywood Regency cocktail table of octagonal form with clear inset glass with gold on black reverse paint eglomise decorative border set within a ribbed and gilt metal frame which is supported by four double-scrolled cast metal legs faux painted to appear like wrought iron. See detail photo with yellow arrow pointing to a name cast into the metal legs. I've not been able to decipher it as of yet.
Eglomise shows some crackling and separation under the glass.
