Iron + Leatherette Coffee Table with Glass Top in the Style of Jacques Adnet
About the Item
An elegant 1960s coffee table in the manner of French designer and architect Jacques Adnet. The table's base is composed of meticulously stitched leatherette straps, a hallmark of Adnet's style, which are skillfully connected by circular iron rings. These straps, with their precise stitching and rich texture, create a striking contrast to the sturdy iron framework. A rectangular glass tabletop with beveled edges rests effortlessly upon the frame. Sourced in the South of France, 1960s.
Condition: Good overall vintage condition. Light scratches and one small chip at one corner of the glass top. The frame has light scuffs in areas that align with age and use.
