A sleek Italian modernist coffee table, the black glass top with an X shaped inset motif of red and metallic laminate banding; supported on shaped legs and apron in birds eye maple. The black glass and banding create a wonderful contrast with the organic and warm wood base. A highly stylized and glamourous piece, so indicative of the dramatic design of the 1970's in Italy.
