Japanese Antique Low Table/Japanese paper pasting/1868s-1912s WabiSabi Primitive

About the Item

This is a low table using old wood and old Japanese paper. The top board is stacked with old Japanese paper on a pine tree and dyed with persimmon juice, ink, and black Urushi. While there is also the texture of Japanese paper, there is also strength because the Urushi is hardened. The wood that seems to be Zelcoba is used as a base, and the appearance that changes naturally over time is very dynamic and primitive. The top plate is stabilized by inserting three black dyed rods. All of them are made using wood from around the Meiji period. By using it as an exhibition table, it will be an item that complements the decoration, but it is also recommended to decorate only the table. Weight: 7kg
