Special Japanese antique wooden low table/1868-1900/wabisabi cafe table

About the Item

This is an item from the Meiji era to the Taisho era in Japan. This board was originally sawn by farmers to repair roofs, etc. It was stored in the attic without being used. The material is chestnut wood. And the base of the table is a workbench used by woodworkers. The material is cedar or pine. It is very well used. The two are combined to make a low table. These go well together and create a cool table that feels wabi-sabi. When a table top is placed on the base, it will rattle slightly, but a felt sticker is included free of charge, so if you stick it, the rattling will disappear. Such materials are rarely available. Also the item is in very good condition. It's a very rare item, so it's unlikely that something similar will come out in the future. Why don't you take this opportunity to get this table? it's recommended. Detailed size w192 to 197 cm d29 to 40 cm h16 to 17.5 cm table base size w108cm d21cm h14cm Total weight: 18.85kg If you want something special, we recommend purchasing items selected by Brood. The wooden box made from the Meiji period to the Taisho period (1868-1900). The wooden box made by combining simple cedar boards. I think it was a box that contained some tools. For many years, soot from the hearth and other parts stuck together and accumulated, resulting in such a black appearance. Don't worry, this soot won't stick to your hands if you touch it. It has a very beautiful black color overall and a simple shape. Good condition. It is a nice wooden box that makes you feel very wabisabi. It is also nice to use as a table or exhibition stand. Things like this are not everywhere. It's rare. Also, in Japan, such things are becoming less and less common. We believe that it is our mission to convey the charm of such old things and keep them. There are few stores that sell such items at 1st dibs. We sell with...
