A Japanese Meiji period low table from the early 20th century, with recessed legs and open carved cutout design. Created in Japan during the Meiji era where is was used as a low writing table, this piece features a rectangular top overhanging two recessed legs showcasing pierced motifs. Boasting a nicely distressed patina throughout, this Japanese Meiji period early 20th century low table will make for a great coffee table in a living room or under a covered patio.
