Konekt Petra Coffee Table with Sahara Noir Marble and Cast Bronze Legs
About the Item
The Petra coffee table features an oval honed & enhanced marble table top and four sculptural polished bronze legs. The bronze legs are inspired by the strong yet elegant hind legs of a camel, and are sand-cast at a local Pennsylvania foundry from a hand-shaped mold.
This table is available now exactly as pictured, with Sahara Noir marble. It is also available made to order with a variety of marble options.
The table legs are made with the age old technique of sand casting, which uses sand as the mold material and can produce unique characteristics such as pitting and surface variations in the metal. These features are inherent to the casting process, and should be embraced as highlighting the unique and hand-made nature of each piece.
