Daniel Boddam Studio is an Australian architecture and design practice driven by a pursuit of simplicity. Establishing his eponymous studio in 2013, Daniel Boddam quickly committed himself to “the poetry of reduction” – his singular belief that a sense of calm and wellbeing can be achieved through design. Regardless of expression – architecture, interiors or furniture design – he seeks to inspire human engagement and a connection with nature whilst celebrating the artisanal. In 2015 the designer introduced his first collection of furniture, a nod to Daniel's desire for holistic expression. An extension of his philosophy in architecture, each collection strives for enduring elegance whilst celebrating the marriage of luxurious materials, revered artisanship and timeless design. While Daniel Boddam draws on an international perspective informed by a life of travel, the Studio’s unmistakable Australian heritage is evident in its understated and casual ease.
