About the Item
With its low profile and soft curves, the M_012 Coffee Table’s serene, sculptural presence playfully contrasts its material and geometry. Carved from a single block of stone, it timeless brutalist design is an inviting stage in any space. Made to order. Customization available upon request. Suitable for indoor/ outdoor use.
The table is hollowed from underneath for weight reduction.
NYC-based design studio Monolith focuses on collectible furniture and homeware by exalting natural beauty through heavy constructions and clean shapes. The studios debut collection "Sanctuary" takes form via nine designs that comprise of chairs, tables and more crafted from stone and wood. Specifically, the collection utilizes locally sourced Jalapa Travertine, White Oak, Recinto Negro and Walnut. The pieces’ natural materials are enhanced by curved and straight-edge modular designs that convey of sense of contemporary refinement.
