This is one of the most beautiful display / showcase coffee tables I have ever seen, the top slides back as per the picture and you can place inside whatever you would like to display
This table is very much on trend and will never be far from it, the lines are elegant and timeless and it looks sophisticated and refined in any setting.
Condition is period, the brass has a wonderful patina that looks very Hollywood Regency, the top glass panel which is removable has some chips in the corners which are quite large, its the original glass so I have left it in place however I can have a replacement top made for approximately £300 should the new owners wish
Maison Jansen was a Paris-based interior decoration office founded in 1880 by Dutch-born Jean-Henri Jansen. Jansen is considered the first truly global design firm, serving clients in Europe, Latin America, North America and the Middle East. This House was located at 23, rue de l'Annonciation, Paris, and closed in 1989.
Condition is period, the brass is nicely aged.

A large, square, French tubular polished brass table, circa 1960s/1970s. The vintage mid-century table has a base frame with a modern faux bamboo-like design, and inset smoked mirror glass top. Substantial proportions, well made, good quality and craftsmanship, Hollywood Regency style, Modernist influence, in the manner of Jacques Adnet and Maison Jansen.
