Marcel Coard Oak Coffee Table Wrapped in Python
About the Item
This rare and substantial coffee table is attributed to French, designed by Marcel Coard, combining oak with python, a popular style used for beautiful home furnishings in Paris during the 1920s. Possibly one of a kind as are many of these pieces during this time. The oak is completely wrapped in a skin full of original python, inside legs wrapped in original python, below the original parchment-wrapped tray. Infinity base with rounded edges. Though the wood has some scratches, the python is in excellent condition. Absolutely stunning piece for every design setting.
