Martell Woodworks Claro Walnut Slab Coffee Table with Wenge Butterflies
About the Item
This is an example of a Claro walnut slab coffee table I make, inlaid with wenge butterflies, and featuring a sculpted walnut base. The slab has beautiful grain movement and depth, and the wenge butterflies serve to stabilize the slab while also integrating the color of the scorched edge. Finished with hand applied oil and wax to bring out all the character and depth of the wood. It's a captivating table, as they all are, built to be a true heirloom piece that will serve you well for generations.
Each piece is made to order, and this is but one example of the possibilities of grain, color and size.
