Max Kment Coffee Side Table, Clear Glass Wood Cord, Austria, 1950s

About the Item

A coffee or side table designed by Austrian architect Max Kment and manufactured by Max Kment Kunstgewerbliche Werkstätten, Vienna, circa 1950. This is a large version of this kind of tables. The organic shaped base is made of beech wood which is partly wrapped with a string. The clear glass top is removable. This piece is similar to the objects from Carl Auböck.
