About the Item
Large 1970s John Mcguire style sheaf of wheat bamboo round side or end, coffee tables.
Pair of large coffee table gilt painted sheaf of bamboo wheat side, end, occasional tables round pedestals attributed to McGuire.
Add a large piece of glass to use them as coffee tables or end tables.
Vintage coastal style braided pencil reed rattan occasional large table stands in the manner of McGuire of San Francisco.
Featuring sophisticated sculpted hourglass bundle of wheat form constructed of bamboo curves in elaborated bundled braided pencil reed construction with a woven band surrounding the center.
The chic bamboo side tables by McGuire can also be used with a glass top.
The base can supports a glass top at the discretion of the buyer or can be used without glass as a smaller table or pedestal.
In vintage original condition with minor wear consistent with age.
Was originally antique white washed finish now showing imperfections consistent with age now gilt painted.
