About the Item
A striking and generously proportioned rectangular coffee table in solid pine, crafted by a Danish cabinet maker in the 1960s. The design combines simplicity and strength, with a thick tabletop supported by broad end panels and a central stretcher, giving the piece a bold, architectural presence. The notched edges along the tabletop add a distinctive touch of craftsmanship, elevating the otherwise minimal form.
The table has recently been carefully refinished, enhancing the natural beauty of the pine and allowing the wood to glow with a warm, silky sheen.
It remains in very good condition overall, with one visible crack to the wood. This does not compromise the stability or function of the table, and instead adds a layer of authenticity to its history and age.
