Mid-Century Modern, Brutalist, Studio Made Copper and Brass Coffee Table
About the Item
Studio made copper and brass coffee table. Made to have a brutalist flair the artist used different pieces of textured and patinated copper and clean brass to cover the entire coffee table. The plates are affixed with copper staples then covered with a thick layer of lacquer to protect it. The table is multidimensional and display a vast variety of colors that change depending on the lighting.
Table would make a great center piece to any room or a great accent in any Mid Century Modern, natural, or postmodern designed rooms.
Artist is unknown but takes elements of Paul Evans and other great designers of the period.
Piece was sourced from the original owners in a Miami estate. Was purchased in the design district in the 70s.
